Potato Rosti

I have no idea what happened with this but the potatoes looked grey! Gross! Otherwise it tasted like hashbrowns only not as good.

Tots!


It totally counts. I wanted to make a tater tot casserole but it takes an hour and I'm pretty sure I don't own a casserole dish. What you can't see is the special dipping sauce: ketchup with pepper and salt!

Not Potatoes

I know it's not raisin month, but I seem to be making things with raisins so, better late than never!

Here is Banana Bread I made with golden raisins and this sandwich idea I saw in Real Simple magazine. White bread, raisins, celery, peanut butter. It is today's lunch so I'm not sure how it will go. Stay tuned.

Potato Gratins

I probably underseasoned Potato Gratins these a bit and definitely didn't buy the heavy cream that was supposed to go over them ( I used milk instead...) but they were still pretty good. You just slice up potatoes, put them in a buttered muffin pan with some seasoning between the layers and bake.

These are redskin herb potatoes. I cooked them using butter and herbs. This is about as simple a recipe as you can get, but they were delicious!. Hard to go wrong with redskin potatoes as long as they're thoroughly cooked.

It's Potato month! I actually made these a couple days ago but they were the inspiration for potato month! Very yummy! And that's veggie bacon on there!
